- Your stories are yours. We only use them to run Kids Libris for you.
- Accounts are for grown-ups; children create with their grown-up.
- We're in beta: things will change, and now and then something may break.
- Be kind, and keep surnames and other personal details out of stories.
Who we are
Kids Libris is run by Advanced Pedagogy Pte Ltd, Singapore. You can reach us at kidslibris@advancedpedagogy.com. By creating an account, you agree to these terms and to our privacy notice.
Your account
- You must be 18 or over to create an account. Children use Kids Libris with you, on your account.
- Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
Your stories are yours
You and your child own the stories you write. You give us permission to store them, process them (including with the AI helpers described in our privacy notice) and show them to you, so we can run Kids Libris. If you share a book in the Library, you also give us permission to show it to other signed-in families until you stop sharing it. We'll never put your book on our public website without your separate written permission.
The pictures and narration are made by AI for your book. You're welcome to keep, print and share your book with family and friends. Please ask us before using it for anything commercial.
Being kind
Kids Libris is made for children. Please don't create anything hurtful, frightening or unsuitable for children, and don't include surnames, addresses, schools or other details that could identify a real child. We may decline, hide or remove a book from the Library, and in serious cases close an account.
Credits
- Writing your story is free. Pictures and narration use credits.
- During the beta, credits are added by the Kids Libris team. They have no cash value and can't be exchanged or transferred.
- Credits are only used when a picture or narration is actually made. If something fails, the credits go back to you.
- To keep things fair and our costs under control, there are daily limits on how much each family can make.
The beta
Kids Libris is still being built. Features, prices and limits may change, and now and then something may not work as it should. Please download or print books you want to keep. We provide Kids Libris "as is" during the beta, and, as far as the law allows, we aren't liable for losses caused by using it.
Ending
You can stop using Kids Libris at any time, and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we ever shut Kids Libris down, we'll give you notice so you can download your books.
Changes
We'll update these terms as Kids Libris grows. When a change matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect.
The law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
